SPRING WEDDING AT THE MACKIE LAKE HOUSE
THE MORNING
Olivia and Devin each got ready at their parent's homes. It was a sunny spring day, and it sure was hot for the month of May! I took Olivia's details out to the poolside as she got ready, then captured a first look with her bridesmaids as she came down the staircase.
Devin's morning included playing a little bit of basketball with his groomsmen! After both the bride and groom were ready, they had a first touch and exchanged personal letters to each other and Devin prayed over the day.
CEREMONY
Their ceremony took place at the Mackie Lake House. This time of year, the property is surrounded by huge lilac bushes! (Which I caught the grandmas smelling on their way in ;))
The florals, the signage and seating was just perfect! Amelia Vegt was on site as a live wedding painter, and Lisa Molitwenik was their violinist. Devin shed some tears as Olivia made her way down the aisle, and the guests did too!
FAMILY & BRIDAL PARTY PHOTOS
Before heading off to Kal Park for bridal party and couple photos, we spent some time around the Mackie Lake House property! There was a super neat staircase inside the old building and a feild out back where we gathered everyone.

The lilac bushes provided some glorious shade as we took family photos. The bridesmaid dresses also matched the flowers - so of course we had to take some photos of the girls as well!
BRIDAL PHOTOS
Nearby the Mackie Lake House and their reception location at the Coldstream Hall, is Cosens Bay!

The green hills and stunning backdrop of Kal lake made for some pretty epic shots of Devin and Olivia. We made sure to get a few shots of Olivia's dad's prized truck as well. Before we left, Olivia and Devin each took a film photo of each other!
