AVERY & CAMERON'S
BERTRAM CREEK WEDDING

THE MORNING
Avery's morning was calm, peaceful, and full of tender moments. She had her details in a box ready for me when I arrived so I could start on some flat lay shots while she finished touching up her makeup!
Then it was time for her mom to help her into her dress, and gift Avery the garter she had from her very own wedding - cue the waterworks.

FIRST LOOK & COUPLE PHOTOS
Avery & Cameron decided to do a first look, private vows, and get the photos with just the two of them done before the ceremony. Bertram Creek Park has so many different locations to shoot in! They chose the exact same spot that Cameron proposed at, overlooking Okanagan Lake.
After they exchanged their private vows, it was time to run around for 30 minutes grabbing shots of just the two of them! The smoky haze over the lake made for quite a dramatic background and the soft blue complimented Averys florals so well.

CEREMONY
The ceremony site took place in a shaded amphitheatre, how cool!? The wedding party entered from the stairs and took their place on the paved area.
Right after the ceremony, Avery wanted to get a group photo of all their guests on the stairs! We did a still smiling shot, then had everyone throw confetti for a fun one!

FAMILY & BRIDAL PARTY PHOTOS
Like I mentioned before - Bertram Creek has so many beautiful locations to shoot in. We walked just behind the ceremony sire to a grassy area for all the family photos.
With a shot list ready and cooperative family members, these photos usually only take around 30 minutes. After rounding up the groomsmen (the bridesmaids were all ready) we took some wedding party photos! Avery had sent me a few shots with motion blur that she liked, so we tried those too!

RECEPTION
Avery & Cameron's reception took place at the Laurel Packing House downtown Kelowna. It was a beautiful venue with brick walls and string lights.
After speeches, happy tears, the bridal party getting iced, and lots of toasts - Avery, Cameron and I snuck out for 15 minutes to run around outside and get a few more shots of them together.
They entered back in to play the shoe game, cut their cake, and have their first dance to "My Song" which was a great choice. Then the lights dimmed, Avery had an outfit change to a cute party dress and the dancing began!
